Overview
The industrial co-products come from different stages of the steel production process. Part of these co-products are generated in the “Presidente Vargas” steel mill, which is located in “Volta Redonda – RJ”. They are recycled internally, returning to the production flow, while those who no longer serve to CSN are sold.
Zinc Sludge
Product Description:
Material generated during the galvanizing process of the steel in the galvanizing lines
Main applications: Raw material for zinc oxide production, for the production of rubber, micronutrients for the soil, animal feed and pharmaceutical industries.
Specifications:
Product with about 90% zinc (Zn).
