The Distribution Center of Curitiba is located in the Industrial park of Curitiba city. It is located in a 16,000 m² plot of land, having a building area of 3.5 thousand m². Due to its strategic location, near the 3rd biggest consumer market of steel in the country, this unit meets the finished products demands presented by the region, therefore having an extensive and diversified inventory.
For the internal handling of products it is applied 3 overhead cranes with capacity for 10 tons, serving the entire inventory area. Lifters are also applied for transportation within small distances and in between contiguous buildings.
For this unit, the supply of raw material is done by highway. Dispatch is done by railroad, focusing the product distribution no the South Region.
It works with third-party carrier companies, whose vehicles are proper for delivering products to customers at a short term basis. Whenever required, delivery services are also rendered at a just in time basis.
